Some news and links to UT2004 Downloads

Well some new news and to sum up some useful information . . .

Epic Games has announced that they will be merging with Scion Studios, whose founder was lead designer for America's Army which used the unreal engine. The press release can be found here. Does anybody besides me remember when they were known as "Epic Mega Games"? I've still have copies of Jazz Jackrabbit and Epic Pinball.

Also of note is the fact that ATARI will start renting servers on a month to month basis starting 3/22 according to this article.

UT2004 Retail On the Way

UT2004 Full version has been released along with the retail dedicated server. I'm downloading the server as I type this on this server and will install it as soon as I get my copy!!

Pretty hefty download of 777MB!!! Should take me a 8 hours to download at 30-40KB a second. Download your copy by following the link in this story. According to this story, UT2004 is going gold ... can't wait for my pre-order to arrive!!
